Pictures and Japan

Ok here's what going on..
I have yet to buy a tablet and Photoshop, but i do have a scanner so I just draw and scan my pictures. Right now I can't afford one and I am going to Japan on a student visa in March 2009 and won't get back until a year later so...I will try to scan som of my pictures before I go.
